Roberto Carrillo Almendras

Roberto has been a Partner at H&S Abogados since 2026. He leads the firm’s Corporate Law practice and has vast experience advising domestic and international clients ‒including multinational financial groups‒ on cross-border mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate restructurings, project finance, banking and financial regulation, as well as general corporate matters.

His extensive experience encompasses structuring and negotiating complex commercial agreements, namely strategic alliances, logistics agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and distribution and storage agreements, particularly for clients operating in industries such as banking and financial services, insurance, reinsurance, oil and gas, steel and mining, beverages, and telecommunications. In the corporate field, he has advised directors, managers and in-house legal counsel, including those of closely held, publicly traded and special corporations, particularly on matters pertaining to corporate governance, corporate compliance policies, related-party transactions and fiduciary duties. He has also assisted shareholders and partners in the drafting and negotiation of their agreements, as well as in defining mechanisms for the resolution of potential disputes.

​For four years, he was a member of the Corporate Law Department at Claro y Cía (2015-2019). He subsequently worked for more than six years in the Corporate Law Department at FerradaNehme (2019-2026), where he finally served as Director. In addition, since 2024, he has been a guest lecturer in the Master’s Program in Business Law at Universidad de los Andes, where he teaches “Mergers and Acquisitions” module.
