

Karina is a Partner at H&S Abogados. She has vast experience in Constitutional, Administrative and Environmental Law, legislative affairs, and regulated industries, particularly transportation, telecommunications, data protection, healthcare as well as the business activities of State-owned enterprises and companies.
Karina has worked extensively in both the public and private sectors. In the public sector, she has advised a former President of Chile, members of Congress, the Comptroller General of the Republic, the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications, and the National Environmental Commission, the predecessor of the current Ministry of the Environment.
In the private sector, she worked for twelve years in the Public and Regulatory Law Department at Claro y Cía (2013-2025). There, she led and developed strategies for the legal defence of clients in administrative sanctioning proceedings, as well as for the filing of administrative appeals, claims against unlawful acts by public authorities, constitutional rights protection actions (recursos de protección), and proceedings before the Constitutional Court. She also advised domestic and international clients on entering and performing agreements with State bodies, as well as on the obtainment of permits, authorizations and concessions.
